RAYMOND, ME-August 30, 1996-Dielectric announces the TMP series of UHF Side Mounted antennas. Designed as an economic alternative to higher power type designs, the TMP combines electrical features of Dielectric's High Power "SM" Side Mounted antennas with the proven performance of Dielectric's "TLP" Lower Power design.
Designed to handle either 60 kW NTSC peak power (with 10% aural) or up to 22 kW Average DTV power. The antenna utilizes a center feed design providing superior phase and amplitude linearity across the entire 6 MHz channel. The antenna input is 6-1/8" (NTSC) or 4-1/16"(DTV).
